WinDirStat…aka “tetris without the rotation/translation”
Yay. I have found another very useful utility. It is called “WinDirStat”, and it is a pretty straight forward program. All it does is give windows (xp, not sure if vista already has a program for it) the ability to show you which folders take up the most space. It not only does this the usual way, by saying program files takes up about 48% of the total disk space, but it also shows it in a very cool graphical form, as you can see below. This is very useful for trying to clean up a disk which is not yours, or a disk so full of porn that you can’t remmeber where it all is. The graphical representation is quite interesting, where each small block is a file (i think) and each colour is a diffrent kind of file.
